Alex Taylor graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing. During his time at the university, he worked as a Writing Fellow in the Liberal Arts Honors program, editing student papers and teaching freshmen how to write at a college level. He was also the Managing Intern at Bat City Review, where he waded into the slush pile for the first time. His fiction has appeared or is upcoming in The Nocturnal and Sanitarium Magazine, and he was a 2017 James F. Parker Fiction Prize winner. In his spare time, you can find him reading Stephen King, drinking coffee, and wishing it was colder outside. He currently lives in Austin with too many roommates and not nearly enough cats.
